Mealime is shutting down

Mealime's meal-planning app will be discontinued as of October 21, 2026. Pro features are free for everyone until then and Pro subscriptions will not renew.

What happens to your data

Mealime's closing notice says "all personal data will be deleted when the Mealime application is shut down." That includes favorites, notes, imported recipes, meal plans and lists. Mealime-written recipes continue in Meals Hub inside Albertsons Companies grocery apps; your account and preferences do not transfer.

How to save your data

These steps come from the official notice linked below. We have not run them on a live account yet.

1. The closing notice describes no export or transfer tool.
2. Copy any recipe you typed or imported yourself into a note or another recipe app, one at a time.
3. Copy your own notes and substitutions, and screenshot your current plan and shopping list.
4. Do this before October 21, 2026.
